The Okaighele (youth head) of Obagie N’ Evbuosa community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government areas of Edo State, Uyi Igiebor has reaffirmed commitment to ensure peaceful coexistence and development of the community to the benefit of the people .
Uyi Igiebor made the reaffirmation while speaking to journalists on the present situation in the community.
He noted that one of the mandates when he was made the Okaighele by the Odionwere on the 13th day of October 2023 ,was to restore peace in the community and that he has successfully done adding that he believes in peaceful coexistence which will bring meaningful development to the community.
The Okaighele then used the occasion to call on all prospective developers and those who want to do business with the Obagie N’ Evbuosa community to feel free to come to the community as peace has finally been restored back to the community.
He assured the general public that there is nothing like land grabbing in the community and that any problem pertaining to land issues have all been settled by the elders and that there is peace and harmony in the community
He noted also that since he came on board as the Okaighele of Obagie N’ Evbuosa, he has been able to ensure that the security of the area is improved upon by the help of the youths and the vigilante put on ground to forstore any breach of security, and also with the help of the Police who constantly patro the area, especially close to the river and also constructing a befitting town hall that comfortably accommodate over 1500 at a sitting with all the necessary convenience included.
While appreciating the Odionwere,elders and people of Obagie N’ Evbuosa community for the confidence repose in him to lead the youths , Uyi Igiebor also used the opportunity to call on the indigines of the community to come back and join hands with the Odionwere and elders in the development of the community for the benefit of all .
