…. Family vows to avenge the death of their son

BENIN CITY- All may have not been resolved of the accusations of one Mr Omokaro Osifo over the alleged murder of his friend , Christo Ogiemien on the 24th of December 2021
It will be recalled the said Mr Omokaro Osifo has earlier been alleged of the murder of his late friend by the Ogiamien family in 2021 and was declared wanted by a police gazette to that effect, no details as regards his complicity in the alleged murder against him but rather that the late Christo Ogiemien who his close friend was last seen with him on the said date
According to the earlier report from the source , the said Mr Omokaro Osifo haven gone through series of torture, harassment and other inhumane treatments from the hands of the police even with efforts made by human rights activists, civil society organization and his lawyer’s were unsuccessful because of the powerful influence of the said Ogiemien family
The family of the late Christo Ogiemien not satisfied with the way the issues were going and vowed also to take their pound of flesh ,again 28th September 2024 , they led thugs on a manhunt to the house of the said Mr Omokaro Osifo but unfortunately they met no members of his family , they attacked the tenants , smashing the glass widow and doors and in an attempt to set the house ablaze the local vigilante step in to rescue the tenants and house from being set ablaze
Meanwhile to avoid breakdown and order as a result of the issues which has lingered on for years now , the Nigeria Police again issued out a warrant of arrest declaring the said Mr Omokaro Osifo wanted
However when contacted the Police Public Relations Officer Edo State Command , SP Joel Yamu confirmed the recent attack but added that investigation into the allegations of murder is still on going
Also at the said known residents of the said Mr Omokaro Osifo when the correspondent visited, there was no one on ground to talk about the issue .
