BENIN CITY-The executives of PDP Oredo Ward 2 has debunked the purported expulsion Rt Hon Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama a former member of the House Representative, representing Oredo Federal Constituency and prominent leader of the party
This was contained in a statement signed by the ward chairman Prince Kingsley Eleme , secretary Obadigie Jesurobo and 12 other members of the executive of the ward 2 ,Oredo Local Government area of Edo State
They informed the public that no such action was discussed or carried out by the ward 2 executive in Oredo but by a rather faceless group of people who may come into the party through the backdoor adding that the actors in the laughable,null and void exercise are not executive of the ward and have no powers to carryout any actions on behalf of the party not to talk of an expulsion of a leader of such capacity
They further said Rt Hon Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama remains not just a member but a prominent and formidable leader of the party and continues to enjoy the total support of members in ward 2
They noted also that it is expected that anyone who loves the party should at this point be focused on actions that will unite the party ahead of the September governorship elections
“We warn mischief makers and imposters to desist from their criminal and divisive actions that can potentially harm the party’s chances of success particularly in Oredo ” they added
