The immediate past Chairman of Owan West Local Government Area, Hon Frank Ilaboya, has commiserated with the family of Bishop Augustine Ohilebo, the Bishop of Anglican Diocese , Sabongida-Ora on the passing of his precious wife, Mrs Rosemary Ohilebo
In a release signed by his Media Aide, Ohis Oborien, llaboya who had a very close relationship with the Bishop and his family while he was the Council Chairman, described the death of Mrs Ohilebo, popularly called ‘Mama Sabo’, as a huge loss not only to the immediate family, the Anglican Diocese of Sabongidda-Ora , the Local Government but the State as a whole.
“Late Mama Sabo lived a good life. She was kind hearted and related well with those who came across her, I am totally in shock to hear of her demise. Words fail me to describe how I feel when I heard the news. As a local government Chairman, I had a very strong relationship with the family which we maintain till today.
“She was caring and always wearing a welcoming smile at all times. She will be greatly missed by all.
“My sincere condolences to our dear Bishop on this sudden departure of his dear wife. I know how traumatising it is to lose one’s better half, but who are we to question God.
“Our prayers are with the Ohilebos as we pray for the repose of her soul. One thing I am sure of is that she is resting in the blossom of the Lord because she served the Lord well while she was alive.”
The former Edo State FA boss while urging the Bishop to draw strength from the holy scripture, assured him that the Lord will continue to guard and protect his family at this sad and trying moment.
