The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Owan Federal Constituency for the 2023 general election,Dcn Patrick Ahonkhai Giwa has assured the people that the party is fully on ground and prepared for the election
Dcn Patrick Giwa gave the assurance in an enlarged meeting held at his residence with the members and the present state of the party in the constituency.
He used the occasion to inform the people that he is the candidate dully recognized by the party for the Owan Federal constituency and urged them to disregard the rumour making the round that he is not the candidate of the party
Continuing , Dcn Giwa thanked God for the victory through the various court judgement in their favour and also appreciated the people for their unwavering support and resilience even in the face of intimidation, internal opposition and violence against them as seen few months back .
He then call on the members of the Peoples Democratic Party and people to go back to their various ward and units to continue the campaign, assuring them of his continuous support to ensure total victory for the party come 2023 general election.
Also speaking at the occasion the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Owan West , Edo State House of Assembly ,Barr Frank Dix Unuigboje told the people that they have gotten to the apex stage of the court case pointing out that it is obvious and very clear that they will be victorious judging from the precedence of similar cases in other state.
Similarly,the Local Government Area Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr David Aigbodion (aka Arizona) represented by the LGA party secretary,Hon Moses Omogbai (aka Sabato urged them to kickstart campaign to the nook and crannies of the constituency,there is no need to entertain fears since they on the winning side .
The enlarged meeting was well attended by party stalwarts across the constituency.
