The Ohen Ukhaihe Narude and the Okaeghele of Ogheghe Adumagbae Community in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State, Ohen Samuel Aiyevbekpen Emokpae and Frank Osadolor, have appealed to the state government to come to their aid in terms of infrastructural developments to their community, saying they have resorted to self-help in executing viable projects.
Ohen Emokpae while speaking at his palace in Ogheghe Community, lamented the I’ll dispositions of some of his indigenes, who, previously indulged in the habit of selling Community lands earn marked for the establishment of Primary health care center, market and police station without recourse to the negative effect it might have on the people.
He said that though there had been protracted leadership quagmire in the community, but that peace has since returned, pointing out that those who were once fanning ember of crisis have found it difficult to join him to transform the community despite his repeated calls.
Ohen Emokpae said that it is this present government in the state they are now hoping to get respite from on this regard, just as he has expressed appreciation to the kind dispositions of Governor Godwin Obaseki in facilitating the grading of the earth road after they had sand filled them.
In the same vein, the okaeghele admitted that the community under the leadership of Ohen Aiyevbekpen Emokpae and himself, worked frantically to ensure the provision of a borehole for portable water for the people, stressing that his administration as the okaeghele is just Eight months but that he has achieved alots.
He thanked Ohen Emokpae for giving him the opportunity to serve in that capacity, while assuring of his unflinching loyalty to him, elders and people to ensure the transformation of the community to achieve its full potentials, just as he has said that plans are on top gear to empower the youths and women for the purposes of contributing massively toward the economic development of the state.
